What to expect.
| As a technical manager at Holland Dredging Industries, you will be responsible for everything related to engineering. From product development to quality assurance and from technical support to process improvement. You work together with our production sites, suppliers and customers at home and abroad. You quickly switch between strategic thinking and operational management. A role with a lot of freedom and responsibility, in the middle of the dynamics of the international dredging industry. |
Job requirements
Technical background
HBO or wo working and thinking level in mechanical engineering, metal technology or similar
Experience in manufacturing or engineering
You understand technical processes and know how to monitor quality
Analytical and practical
You think ahead and switch easily between thinking and doing
Good communication
You explain technical matters clearly, even to non-technical colleagues
Independent and decisive
You take ownership and get things done
Internationally oriented
You speak English well and enjoy working in an international context

What will you do?
You monitor and improve technical processes and product quality
You develop and supervise new technical applications and product improvements
You manage projects with internal and external partners
You act as a technical point of contact for customers, suppliers and colleagues
You will work with sales on technical specifications and customer solutions
You keep an eye on safety, sustainability and innovation
